Commercial quality for a fair price
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:16 Mins So far I’m impressed with this slicer. It is heavy duty, quiet, and the blade is razor sharp. I’ve just received the slicer today, so I’ll update my review after more use. So far it made quick work of slicing a block of pepper jack cheese.
Commercial quality Great product. I used to own a sandwich shop and this is exactly a (slightly) smaller version of the $5000 commercial slicer I had there. All sturdy metal parts….no cheap plastic like other home slicers. Easily slices meat and cheese as thin as you want it.In addition, I had a great experience with their customer service. After having it for only a couple days, I stupidly ran the center plate through the dishwasher (don’t do that). Of course, it completely oxidized the chrome finish. Still functional, but I was pretty bummed that I mucked up my brand new slicer. So I emailed Beswood to see if I could buy a replacement piece. They quickly responded that they would happily send me one for free! Above and beyond in my opinion.
Awesome Slicer We used our Beswood 10″ slicer for the first time last night. After unpacking we broke the machine down completely, even removing the blade. Not being that familiar with slicers it took approximately 20 minutes to take apart and 5 minutes to reassemble. Anyone who says not to remove the blade after slicing to clean is crazy!! After slicing both raw beef and chicken for jerky it was a mess behind the blade. Clean up was a cinch!! I will say this is the quietest slicer I have used. It sliced everything with ease and the slices were uniform. I would highly recommend this slicer. It should last a lifetime with a little maintenence every now and again.
