BESTEQUIP 10″ Meat Slicer Review

BESTEQUIP 10" Meat Slicer Review — A Reliable 240W Commercial-Grade Slicer for Home & Small Businesses

If you’ve been searching for a powerful meat slicer that sits comfortably between “home-use convenience” and “commercial-grade performance,” the BESTEQUIP 10-inch Meat Slicer (240W / 530 RPM) is one of the best value options available today.

Whether you're preparing deli-style meats, slicing roasts for sandwiches, portioning cheese, or prepping ingredients for a small restaurant, this slicer combines power, stability, and affordability better than most competitors in its class.

Key Specifications

  • Blade Size: 10-inch chromium-plated steel
  • Motor Power: 240W
  • Blade Speed: ~530 RPM
  • Slice Thickness Range: 0–12 mm
  • Build Material: Cast aluminum alloy body
  • Use Case: Commercial light/medium duty & serious home kitchens
  • ASIN: B08R7JJF3R

What Makes the BESTEQUIP 10″ Stand Out?

1. A Strong 240W Motor for Fast, Clean Cuts

This slicer isn’t a “toy” like many small home models.
The 240W motor delivers enough torque to slice through:

  • cooked meats
  • semi-frozen meats
  • cheese blocks
  • firm vegetables

The motor runs smoothly with minimal vibration, making slicing more consistent and easier to control.

2. Large 10-inch Blade for Bigger Jobs

Unlike 7–8 inch home slicers, the 10-inch blade can handle:

  • thick roasts
  • brisket
  • ham
  • turkey breasts
  • cheese wheels

The chromium-plated coating helps the blade resist corrosion and stay sharp longer.

3. Commercial Stability Without Commercial Pricing

BESTEQUIP engineered this model with a cast aluminum body that provides stability and weight—two things that dramatically improve slicing quality.

Yet the price remains lower than premium commercial models, making it ideal for small cafes, bars, sandwich shops, or dedicated home cooks.

4. Adjustable Thickness (0–12 mm)

You can switch from paper-thin deli slices to thick cuts for sandwiches, yakiniku, shabu-shabu, or charcuterie boards within seconds.

Things to Consider (Cons)

  • Heavy: The machine weighs around 40–45 lbs, so it’s not ideal for moving frequently.
  • Blade requires maintenance: As with all slicers, routine cleaning and drying is essential.
  • Not made for 24/7 industrial use: Perfect for small business, but not a full-scale factory slicer.

Who Should Buy the BESTEQUIP 10" Meat Slicer?

Perfect for:

  • Small delis & cafés
  • Home cooks who slice meat often
  • Meal prep enthusiasts
  • Families that buy meat in bulk
  • Charcuterie lovers & food content creators

Not ideal for:

  • People who need a compact, lightweight machine
  • Those who only slice meat occasionally
  • High-volume industrial kitchens

Functions well, hard to clean and is a little loud. So I was not given any instructions on this product and the pan was slightly bent in several places. I watched a youtube video on how to clean it and what to do and it said to wash in between the blade with soupy water. Well it’s pretty difficult to wash in between really shape blades that are 3MM apart. I let it completely dry before cutting up chicken breast which I cut into cubes, well my cleaning wasn’t thorough enough as the first pound of chicken I ran through smelled of grease and had black particles. So I had to ditch a few batches I ran through. Functions, cuts fast, but the maintenance and difficulty of cleaning is the reason why I rated it at 3 stars. I tried buying a 5mm width from the same company and they stated it was going to cost $299.00. That’s crazy.**************1/3/2019 Update**************The company actually reached out after the holidays to address my issues and provided a $30 refund for the bent tray. Updating review to 4 stars.
